Race History
The Kyiv City Marathon was established around 2010, a course through the Ukrainian capital, touring the grand boulevards, golden-domed churches, and the banks of the Dnipro on largely flat-to-rolling terrain. The marathon paused in 2022 following Russia's full-scale invasion, resuming in subsequent years under the 'Unbroken' banner, with proceeds now supporting Ukraine's Special Operations Forces. Its monumental, landmark-rich cityscape gives it real character, and it remains Ukraine's signature marathon.
